Conclusion: Adobe Audition offers some really nice audio editing tools. It’s a professional level package, and as such, may not be intuitive to everyone right out of the box. While the price is at about the industry average for a package of this caliber and type, it is a bit on the expensive side, so if you're purchasing this for one or two immediate need projects it may not be the right choice if cost is a concern.
Adobe's integration with other audio and video packages from its CS5.x suite makes this a logical buy, however, if repeated audio editing is in your immediate future.
